Information You Submit
Search Entries
When a visitor enters a name or birth date into a partner search tool, the entry goes to the company that runs that service for processing. That provider returns its own results. This site does not store or log the terms typed into the partner tool on its own systems.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email, the message may be kept so a reply can be sent. It is not shared outside the operating team unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Technical Visit Data
When a page loads, server and analytics tools may record technical details about the visit, such as:
- the network address assigned to the device;
- browser type and version;
- device and operating-system category;
- pages viewed and time spent;
- the referring site, when provided; and
- the time of the request.
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved by a browser. They and analytics services can help measure which pages are used and where visitors leave. Browser settings can block cookies; some site functions may not work in the same way if they are disabled.
How Visitor Data Is Used
- to keep the pages available and improve load time;
- to send a search request to the service that operates the search box;
- to learn which information visitors find useful;
- to identify and fix technical problems; and
- to display advertising that may reflect browsing interests.
No Warrant Data Is Stored Here
Oldham County Warrant Records does not host, build, or sell a database of warrants, court cases, or personal warrant entries. The site provides general directions to county offices and public systems. The Texas Public Information Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 552, concerns records held by government bodies; it does not turn this private site into a government record system. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports about other people.
Outside Search Providers
The search boxes on some pages are run by third-party companies. Information a visitor enters is handled under that company's privacy policy, retention rules, and sharing practices. Oldham County Warrant Records does not control those systems. Review the provider's terms before sending personal information.
Links Away From This Site
Pages may link to Oldham County offices, state courts, Texas agencies, and private search services. Once a visitor follows an outside link, that service's policy applies to the visit. Read its terms before sharing personal details. Advertising partners may also use their own systems to track activity across sites; those systems are outside this site's control.
Who May Receive Information
Personal information is not sold. Information may be received by the services that operate searches, analytics tools that measure traffic, advertising networks that place ads, or a government body when a valid legal order requires disclosure.
Steps to Protect Data
Reasonable security practices are used to protect information collected by the site. No internet service can promise that data will always be safe from every breach or misuse. The site takes steps to protect information but cannot guarantee that an incident will never occur.
Visitors Under 18
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under age 18. If a visitor believes a minor has sent information to the site, contact the operator so the message can be reviewed and deleted when appropriate.
Choices and Data Rights
Where it applies, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Business and Commerce Code Chapter 541, may allow a consumer to ask a controller to confirm or access personal data, correct errors, delete data, obtain a copy, or opt out of certain processing. The law has scope and exceptions. Those rights do not automatically apply to every visitor or every service used through this site.
For information held by a Texas government office, a separate route may apply under the Texas Public Information Act. That law concerns government-held records, not this website's visitor data.
Policy Changes
This policy may be revised. When that happens, the updated wording and effective date will appear here. Review the page from time to time if you want to know how site data practices are described.
